In a comfortable cabin, secluded in a dense woods, lived a huntsman.

He was a master of his craft, although, he choose to live a humble life. He would gather. He would cut wood. He would find beauty in the details of forest. He could see things that no one else could. Since he lived a mostly solitary life he didn't have anyone to share these tiny details with. Details that made life amazing. Regardless, he was mostly content.

One day while out collecting firewood he happened upon a wolf. Not knowing the wolfs intent he stopped in his tracks. The wolf gazed upon him. A look of intrigue. Of beauty. T

Dragon Tower Cake By Jacob Elijah
Fondant / gumpaste / Chocolate cake, 24" x22"

Yeeep. It's all food. Foods! Fondant, gumpaste and Chocolate cake. Yums.

Well mostly, It does have a simple metal armature built into the dragon. You have to support a fat dragon with a two foot wingspan with something. I had to use all my art skills to create this thing: Sculpting, painting, wood working, sketching and eating. And, yeah, Eating gumpaste swords is definitely an art.

It was a surprise gift for my Moms birthday. She was happy. She better be... it took 22 hours of work to complete.

Why make it as a cake if its pretty much just fondant? Seems to be more the art of sculpture than the art of cooking and taste. Might as well make it in a more permanent media.
